Ensuring the Highest Standards of Safety & Quality in Cannabis Products
At March and Ash transparency meets trust in cannabis safety. “Tested and Trusted” isn’t just a tagline—it’s our promise to you. Every product on our shelves undergoes rigorous state-mandated testing, and to enhance our trust in these results, we randomly conduct independent spot checks.
Tested and Trusted
At March and Ash, we've built our reputation on trust and transparency over the past six years. Our commitment to safety goes beyond meeting state requirements—we strive to exceed them. “Tested and Trusted” isn’t just a tagline; it’s our promise to you. Here's how we ensure the products you purchase are of the highest quality and safety standards...
State-Mandated Testing: The Foundation of Safety
Every cannabis product sold in licensed dispensaries, including ours, undergoes comprehensive testing as required by state regulations through the METRC system. This testing covers various safety aspects, including potency, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants.
Our Additional Layer of Protection: Random Spot-Check Testing
While state-mandated testing provides a solid baseline for safety, we take it a step further:
- We conduct random, independent spot-check tests on selected products from our shelves.
- This practice has been in place for over a year, reinforcing our commitment to your safety.
- Our spot-check testing helps verify the accuracy of state-mandated test results and provides an extra layer of quality assurance.
Why Our Approach Matters
The cannabis testing landscape can be complex:
- Different labs may have varying standards, equipment, and procedures.
- Occasionally, discrepancies in results between labs can occur.
- In rare cases, contaminants might go undetected in initial testing.
Our random spot-check testing helps mitigate these risks, ensuring that the products we offer consistently meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Our Testing Results
At March and Ash, we're committed to transparency and rigorous quality control. Toward that end, last fall we conducted an extensive internal investigation to be sure that the cannabis products on our own shelves were clean, safe, and accurately labeled. We tested over 200 cannabis products from 70 top brands for pesticide contamination, THC potency accuracy, and the presence of illegal, chemically synthesized THC.
We hoped to find that our diligence was unnecessary. Alas, we found that a small percentage of products were contaminated with pesticides and two products contained unregulated, chemically synthesized THC (which is prohibited under state law).
These findings reinforce why our spot-check testing is crucial. By randomly selecting products from our shelves for additional verification, we add an extra layer of scrutiny to ensure that only safe, accurately labeled products reach our customers. This process helps us identify and remove any products that don't meet our high standards, even if they've passed initial state-mandated tests.
Our commitment to quality and safety isn't just about compliance—it's about earning and maintaining your trust. At March and Ash, we believe you deserve cannabis products that are not only effective but also safe and accurately represented. Our rigorous approach to testing and quality control is designed to give you peace of mind with every purchase.
The Importance of Choosing Licensed Retailers
While all licensed cannabis retailers must sell products that have undergone state-mandated testing, not all implement additional safety measures. At March and Ash, we go above and beyond by:
- Collaborating with top-tier, independent testing partners.
- Implementing our unique spot-check verification process.
- Continuously monitoring and improving our quality assurance practices.
Our Promise to You
When you shop at March and Ash, you're not just buying cannabis products—you're investing in peace of mind. Our commitment to safety, quality, and transparency is unwavering. We take these extra steps because your well-being is our top priority.
Choose March and Ash for cannabis products you can trust, backed by rigorous testing and our dedication to your safety.
