Emerald Cup 2022 Winners

Farmer and the Felon - One of the most popular brands of outdoor cannabis flowers, Farmer and the Felon brought the heat at this year’s Emerald Cup, winning multiple awards in the sun-grown flower category as well as Best in Show for flower overall! The 1st place trophy and Best in Show award was handed to Farmer and the Felon for their Lemon Sponge Cake cultivar, a sweet and citrusy cross of Lemon Kush Mint X Georgia Pie.

FatF also walked away with a 3rd place prize for their peach-forward Georgia Pie (Gellati x Kush Mintz) and a 4th place nod to their Double OG Chem (OG Chemdawg X Double OG Sour) flowers that taste like roses dipped in diesel fuel. 92 OG and Sticky Buns also won 8th and 11th place awards, respectively. Outdoor cannabis is officially something to be reckoned with!

Fig Farms - Breeders and cultivators of some of California's most sought-after cannabis cultivars, Fig Farms strolled away from the 2022 Emerald Cup with a couple of exciting accolades under their belts. Their Animal Face (Face Off OG X Animal Mints) went home with the 2022 Breeder’s Cup gold in this year’s indoor cannabis category thanks to its complex tropical/chemical terpene profile and stress-melting effects. Fig Farms also received a well-deserved 3rd place recognition for their Blue Face cultivar, another cross of Face Off OG X Animal Mints (but this time, its blue phenotype). Blue Face is perfect for anyone in need of a deep, heady stone. Their creeper Holy Moly! snagged 5th place, and 6ixth Sense took 11th place.

NUG - NUG brought some exceptional results of their state-of-the-art cultivation techniques to the 2022 Emerald Cup. NUG claimed 4th place in the indoor flower category thanks to their chocolate-dipped, minty Chocolatina buds. The ideal strain for that “end-of-a-hard-day’s-work” joint or snap bowl, Chocolatina (Tina X Mint Chocolate Chip) impressed judges with its giddy, euphoric effects and the terpene profile of an Andes mint marinated in gasoline.

Kalya Extracts - Purveyors of some of the most delectable “grab you by the shirt and smack you in the brain” Rosins and Ice Water Hash, Kalya Extracts left this year’s Cup beaming with pride yet again. Their Lemon Limez Rosin in collaboration with LUMA landed in 3rd, thanks to their sour citrus powerhouse flavors, and their Double Rainbow (a collab with Dancing Dog Ranch) placed 5th overall in the Ice Water Hash category.
