Pride Month 2022 is here and we are so excited to elevate and support LGBTQ+ owned cannabis brands as well as cannabis brands that are allies to the LGBTQ+ communities. Gay Pride was meant to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969 and since that fateful day, Gay Pride (or Pride Month) has become a celebration of equality for all members of the LGBTQ+ communities as well as other marginalized populations around the world.
Let’s celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month 2022 by being an ally and lifting humans around us who may not have the platform they so deserve. As cannabis enthusiasts, one good way to support our LGBTQ+ friends and family is by supporting brands that champion their rights and values.
Camino - A Passionately Proud Brand
Now in their fifth year as outspoken LGBTQ+ supporters, Camino is once again rolling out their special edition Proud gummies with all the complex cannabinoid profiles we’re used to getting from Camino but with a little extra attitude mixed in. Camino’s Passionfruit Punch Proud Gummies are an energizing, mood-enhancing edible experience of sweet, tropical fruit flavors formulated to help you stand Loud, Proud, and Unbowed.
As a way of showing their love to all members of the Pride congregation, Kiva and Camino are donating $100,000 this year to some of the most impactful charities in this space: FOLX HRT Care Fund in partnership with the National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition (BTAC), Transgender Law Center, the LA LGBT Center, and GLAAD.

CANN - It “Tastes So Good” to “Say Gay”
CANN is a queer-founded cannabis drink company that has risen to the top ranks to become one of the leading cannabis brands in the world. They have featured many LGBTQ+ models in their social media advertising and have been outspoken supporters of the cause since their inception. To celebrate Pride 2022, CANN has partnered with Weedmaps with a launch of their “Say Gay” campaign as a way to say “Celebrate who you are and be your true self to the world!”
CANN has also developed four new flavors of their crowd-favorite Lite drinks including Honeydew Mint, Cloudy Apple Rhubarb, Tangerine Hops, and Golden Citrus Bark. But that’s not all! CANN collaborated with an incredible array of queer icons and celebrity allies to record a fun, enigmatic summer pop track and music video called “Tastes So Good.”
Produced by London Alley (Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, etc.), “Tastes So Good” features big names in the LGBTQ+ celebrity community like Gus Kenworthy, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Hayley Kiyoko, MNEK, Vincint, and Patricia Arquette as well as RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Kornbread, Kerri Colby, Jorgeous, and season 14 winner Willow Pill.
Grab a 6-pack of CANN’s Lite Honeydew Mint, Cloudy Apple Rhubarb, and Golden Citrus Bark, and party with pride once the 2mg THC : 4mg CBD hits your system.
LGBTQ+ or LGBTQ-PLUS?
PLUS is living the narrative that we should elevate and celebrate the message of Pride to include Brown, Black, and Trans voices who are continuing the daily fight for life, dignity, and equality for all. In an effort to support these marginalized communities, PLUS will be donating a portion of the proceeds of every tin sold of their Rainbow Sherbet Pride gummies to the San Francisco-based Transgender, Gender-Variant and Intersex Justice Project (TGIJP).
PLUS’s Rainbow Sherbet Pride gummies are their best-selling limited edition edible that may provide the second wind you’ll need at your next Pride party thanks to its uplifting blend of Sativa-forward cannabinoids and terpenes. Each gummy contains 5mg of THC making it an ideal micro-dosing edible for a long day of celebration, and it tastes as beautiful as it looks. The gorgeous array of colors on these gummies will match any Pride outfit you’re planning this year.
We’re well into this year’s Pride Month and PLUS is taking time to celebrate the progress made for LGBTQ+ and Trans rights by partnering with organizations that believe queer rights are civil rights. Snag a tin of PLUS’s Rainbow Sherbet Pride gummies this year and elevate your mood while elevating the LGBTQ+ voices around you.
